About the Role
As a Prada In-Store Trainer, you will support the Store Manager in unlocking the store’s full potential, delivering business results and driving qualitative growth. Your mission is to embody and share Prada’s Brand philosophy and Values, guiding customers into the world of Prada with Empathy, Warmth, Passion, and Proactivity. You will be the first Brand Ambassador on the shop floor, fostering a culture of continuous learning and exceptional Client Experience.
This role requires a regular on-site presence to drive impact through hands-on engagement.
Responsibilities
- Training Strategy & Execution
- Develop and cascade training programmes aligned with global, local, and store-specific priorities.
- Drive a culture of Shadowing—observation, feedback, and mentorship—across all store levels.
- Identify training needs based on business priorities and develop tailored action plans for store teams and individual advisors.

Client Advocacy & Experience
- Ensure a seamless Client Journey, focusing on metrics like Conversion, Clienteling, Leathergoods Mindset, and Zoning.
- Coordinate with retail functions such as Merchandising, CRM, and Events to organize and implement training activities.

Team Development & Coaching
- Conduct team gap analyses to create individual coaching plans.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and monitor progress in alignment with training goals.
- Partner with Store Leadership to cascade full training content on Brand Values, Client Journey, and Product Knowledge.

Customer Engagement & Sales Excellence
- Actively engage on the shop floor to lead training initiatives, prioritising:
- Selling skills
- Client Experience & Advising
- Styling & Brand ambassadorship
- High-End products expertise
- Cultivate a self-learning culture, with a focus on Retail Training Digital Tools (Training App).

One-to-One & New Hire Support
- Conduct regular Shadowing cycles (Observation → Feedback → Coaching) for Store Leadership to ensure robust one-to-one mentoring.
- Maintain continuous feedback loops with trainees to track progress.
- Oversee onboarding journeys for new hires, including in-store induction and collboration with HR.

Knowledge & Skills
To excel in this role, you should demonstrate:

Training & People Management
- Proven expertise in team development and performance improvement.
- Ability to lead Journeys of training and skills progression.

Business Acumen & KPIs
- Strong understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), particularly those related to CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and client engagement.

Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—essential for influencing and inspiring both new hires and existing teams.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability to function in diverse, fast-paced, and culturally rich environments.

Linguistic Requirements
- Fluency in English (no translation needed).
