Description
Ready to take the next step in your legal career? Join a team where your analytical skills, attention to detail, and passion for helping people truly matter. As a Personal Injury Pre‑Litigation Assistant, you’ll play a key role in preparing accident claims (RTA, EL, PL) for litigation — building strong cases, supporting union members, and helping clients move forward after life‑changing events.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, loves problem‑solving, and wants to develop real expertise in personal injury law.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Investigating and gathering evidence to determine whether cases should proceed to litigation.
- Preparing files for issue, including assessing merits, obtaining liability evidence, securing medical reports, and instructing experts.
- Managing a high‑volume caseload with accuracy, organisation, and confidence.
- Taking clear, detailed instructions from clients, witnesses, experts, and union partners.
- Making informed decisions under supervision, using sound judgment and strong analytical skills.
- Working efficiently within a KPI framework and recording time accurately.
- Using a case management system to produce your own work and stay fully self‑sufficient.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
