Pre-Owned Regional Development Manager - South England
As the Pre-Owned Regional Development Manager - South England, you'll work closely with Porsche Centres across your region to maximise Pre-Owned sales performance, strengthen dealer capability and drive sustainable growth.
By analysing performance data, coaching retailer teams, optimising inventory strategies, and implementing targeted improvement plans, you'll play a key role in enhancing profitability, improving customer experience, and ensuring every Centre consistently delivers the high standards expected of the Porsche Approved Pre-Owned programme.
Your commercial insight and ability to build trusted relationships will directly influence regional success and contribute to the continued growth of the Porsche network.
Please note this position is a full-time, permanent contract through our sole supplier; Dekra.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Sales Leadership — Deliver Pre-Owned sales performance across the region. Analysing performance, trends, and implementing corrective actions to achieve volume and profit goals.
- Drive the Porsche Pre-Owned Strategy — Monitor Centre performance against strategic expectations, identify shortfalls, and partner with Centres to create and implement targeted plans that close gaps and deliver sustainable improvement.
- Dealer Network Development — Support and coach dealers to improve appraisal accuracy, stock turn, pricing discipline, and retail readiness.
- Inventory Strategy — Oversee stock mix, ageing, sourcing channels, and allocation to ensure optimal availability and margin performance. Encourage engagement with all inventory sources, including PCGB vehicles and VWFS end of contract vehicles.
- Performance Management — Conduct regular business reviews, assess KPIs, and implement tailored improvement plans for underperforming businesses.
- Operational Excellence — Ensure compliance with brand standards, certification processes, reconditioning guidelines, and customer experience expectations.
- Training & Coaching — Deliver training and coaching where needed on Pre-Owned topics such as pricing strategy and stock management best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work closely with other departments and group organisations to align regional execution with national objectives.
- Reporting & Forecasting — Provide accurate forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior leadership.

Requirements
- Automotive management background, ideally retail or customer performance focused
- An ability to influence through building trust and credibility, persuasion and constructive challenge
- Strong analytical, problem solving, coaching and facilitation skills
- Ability to analyse performance data and create actionable plans
- Ability to negotiate at director level
- High level of commercial acumen
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across the network
- Deliver high levels of service to internal and external customers
- Maintain awareness of industry, corporate and customer developments
- Contribute fully to team culture and business strategy execution
- Build strong relationships across the Porsche Centre network and PCGB
- Ensure effective use of PCGB systems and management controls
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and ensure compliance at all times
