About the Role: Pre-Sales Engineer
Your Impact
As part of the Client Services team, you’ll work closely with Sales to own customer demonstrations and pre-sales engagements—acting as a bridge between prospects’ challenges and our digital identity solutions. You’ll:
- Lead pre-sales conversations, tailoring product demonstrations (technical and non-technical) to engagging audiences.
- Collaborate with Solution teams to provide deep technical credibility when needed.
- Generate demand, influence pipeline health, and drive revenue achievable success.
- Serving UK and US-based customers, with scheduled coverage in the Eastern timezone.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
- Deliver end-to-end pre-sales cycles—from discovery to handover—demonstrating technical and business value.
- Align customer pain points with Yoti’s solutions, enabling informed decision-making.
- Work alongside Solution Architects, escalating complexity discreetly for shared success.

Sales Support
- Combine hands-on problem-solving with scalable solutions, thinking about adoption at scale.
- Support RFPs/proposals, translating technical capabilities into compelling narratives.
- Maintain alignment between technical vision and strategic accountability.
Requirements & Qualities
Experience Prerequisites
- Proven track record as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Consultant.
- Demo facilitation expertise: Ability to both lead live walkthroughs and adapt to diverse audience needs.
- Expertise in managing pre-sales stages: Discovery → Demo → PoC → Delivery handover.
Technical & Commercial Fit
- Deep technical confidence: Comfortable explaining complex concepts to business and technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant identity/biometric ecosystem tools.
- Commercial mindset to recognize pre-sales growth opportunities and customer feedback signals.
Soft Skills
- Relationship-building: Charismatic presenter with story-driven communication.
- Agility: Quick learner in dynamic environments who thrives under fast-moving deadlines.
- Cross-team collaboration: Values input from peers while leveraging expertise proactively.
Time Zone & Flexibility
- US/UK hybrid: Regular roles covering the Eastern Timezone, requiring flexible hours.
