Pre Sales Solution Architect - Zscaler / Cyber Security
Cyber Security Managed Services
Join a growing cyber security business at the forefront of zero trust networking, helping organisations modernise and secure their environments. This is a hands-on specialist role where you'll combine technical expertise with customer engagement, taking solutions from initial conversation through to successful deployment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with the sales team to support customer discovery, technical qualification and solution design.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations, proof-of-value exercises and pilot deployments.
- Produce high-quality technical proposals, high-level designs and statements of work.
- Present technical solutions confidently to both engineering teams and senior business stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end deployments of Zscaler technologies, including ZIA, ZPA and ZDX.
- Design security policies, manage migrations, oversee cutovers and provide post-deployment support.
- Integrate zero trust solutions with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, SD-WAN and existing network infrastructure.
- Create clear technical documentation, policy baselines and operational handover materials.
- Provide technical expertise on complex project issues and support successful customer outcomes.
- Work closely with vendor teams to strengthen partnerships, contribute to joint go-to-market activity and stay aligned with the latest product developments.
- Use AI-powered tools to improve proposal creation, documentation and policy analysis.

Main Skills Needed
- Strong hands-on experience designing and deploying Zscaler ZIA and ZPA solutions, with ZDX experience beneficial.
- Proven pre-sales experience including customer workshops, demonstrations, proof-of-value engagements and proposal development.
- Excellent knowledge of network security, identity and access management, firewalls, VPNs and zero trust architectures.
- Experience integrating cloud identity platforms, particularly Microsoft Entra ID and Conditional Access.
- Solid understanding of SD-WAN, enterprise networking and hybrid infrastructure.
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate confidently at both technical and executive level.
- Experience delivering projects across multiple customer environments, ideally within an MSP, MSSP or consultancy.
- Relevant Zscaler certifications or equivalent practical experience, with additional Microsoft or networking certifications highly regarded.
