About us

St Tudy Pre-school is a warm, welcoming, and highly regarded early years setting at the heart of our rural community. We provide high-quality care and education for children aged 1 to 5 years, helping every child learn, grow, and thrive.

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and compassionate Pre-school Manager to lead our dedicated team as we prepare for an exciting new chapter: our upcoming transition into St Barnabas Multi Academy Trust.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious practitioner who enjoys combining inspiring educational leadership with day-to-day operational management, all while building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

About the role

As our Pre-school Manager, you will hold a dual role of educational leader and operational manager. You will:

  • Guide and motivate a committed, passionate early years team.
  • Oversee the delivery of an engaging EYFS curriculum, ensuring outstanding standards of care, learning, and safeguarding.
  • Support every child's individual development, promoting inclusive practice across the setting.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with families, the local community, and external professionals.
  • Manage recruitment, staff supervision, and professional development while maintaining strict regulatory compliance and Ofsted readiness.
  • Work closely with the Chair of Trustees to ensure a smooth, successful transition into the St Barnabas MAT.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
