Pre-School Manager Opportunity | Outdoor Learning & Forest School Setting

Hays Education is delighted to be supporting a highly regarded and growing early years provider with the recruitment of a Pre-School Manager for one of its established settings in Billericay.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years leader who is passionate about outdoor education, child-led learning and creating inspiring environments where children can thrive. The successful candidate will lead a well-established pre-school setting built around a strong forest school ethos, offering children unique opportunities to learn through exploration, discovery and nature-based experiences.

The organisation has developed an outstanding reputation for combining high-quality early years education with an enriching curriculum that extends beyond the traditional EYFS framework. Children benefit from a carefully designed programme that incorporates:

The Role

You will lead a team of practitioners to deliver outstanding care and education, ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and maintain a welcoming environment for children and families.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
