Room Leader – Pre-School (Early Years Specialist)
Location: Hendon, London, NW4
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our thriving Pre-School in Marylebone Services, a warm, independent, and family-run nursery nestled in a beautifully serene setting in Hendon.
This role allows you to focus entirely on nurturing young minds by prioritising learning through play and supporting your team in delivering the best care experience—minimising paperwork so you can dedicate your time to what matters most.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading a dynamic Pre-School room with a team of four professional practitioners, ensuring:
- Daily operations of the room are seamless and child-centred.
- Creation of a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where learning through play is the cornerstone.
- Mentoring and supporting the practitioner team while maintaining a cohesive approach to child development.
- Planning engaging, educational activities and experiences tailored to each child.
- Completing natural learning observations and regular progress assessments.

Requirements
Candidates must possess:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
- Proven experience as a Room Leader within a UK Early Years setting.
- Full, unrestricted Right to Work in the UK.
- Soft Skills Required:
- Exceptional communicative, caring, and highly organised abilities.
- Reliable, dedicated, and passionate about mentoring colleagues and shaping young minds.
Additional Notes
- Job Type: Full-time (Permanent)
- Hours: 40-45 per week (including breaks and home prep).
- Working Pattern: Mon–Fri (08:00–18:00).
- Year Structure: 48 weeks/year.
