Position: Pre-School Room Leader Location: Seaford Salary: Up to £31,000 pro rata depending on experience and hours Hours: 4-5 days per week Contract length: To cover Maternity Leave for up to one year Holidays: 31 days (including Bank Holidays)

As a Room Leader, you’ll lead by example, guide your team, and ensure the highest standards of care and education in your room. What You’ll Do: Lead and manage the daily operations of your room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children. Plan and deliver fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Mentor and support your team, encouraging their professional development and fostering a positive team culture. Build meaningful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Monitor and support each child’s development and well-being, creating individual learning plans as needed. Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and safeguarding.

What You Bring to the Team: A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above). Proven experience in a nursery setting, with previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. A passion for early childhood education and helping children reach their full potential. Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills. A commitment to continuous professional development.
