Job Title: Business Development Manager – Precious Metals
Location: United Kingdom (flexible)

Imperium Commodity Search is confidentially retained to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager – Precious Metals on behalf of a specialist organisation operating within the global metals and commodity markets sector.
This is a commercially strategic role focused on revenue growth, market expansion and strategic partnerships across the precious metals value chain including mining, refining, metals trading, fabrication and institutional markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development and commercial growth across precious metals markets
- Identify and secure new opportunities within PGMs (Platinum Group Metals), bullion, refined metals and scrap metals
- Develop relationships with mining companies, refiners, metals traders, fabricators, commodity trading houses and institutional buyers
- Manage the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, lead generation, negotiation and contract execution
- Analyse metal pricing, global metals exchanges (LME and related markets), supply and demand dynamics, and market trends
- Support development of commercial strategy aligned to physical metals markets
- Structure commercial agreements aligned to risk management frameworks and contract structures
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, logistics, finance and compliance teams
- Represent the business at metals industry conferences and commodity market events

Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Commercial Manager or Sales Manager within Precious Metals
- Strong exposure to PGMs, platinum, palladium, rhodium, bullion, refined metals or physical metals trading
- Knowledge of global metals exchanges, commodity pricing mechanisms and metals markets
- Established network across mining, refining, metals trading, fabrication or institutional commodities sectors
- Understanding of risk management, hedging strategies and commercial contract negotiation
- Strong commercial acumen and market analysis capability
- Experience operating in regulated or compliance-driven environments
