The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss is proud to be at the forefront of driving a global transformation in digital and electric solutions that increase productivity and energy efficiency. We are truly passionate about investment, and innovation, as we continue to support our customers' journey towards a greener and lower-carbon future.

We now have an exciting new opportunity to recruit a Preferential Origin Analyst to join our Trade Compliance team, to support trade compliance activities with a primary focus on Preferential Origin. This role will play a key part in ensuring that products meet applicable origin requirements to support preferential duty treatment, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and enable duty savings opportunities. The position requires strong expertise in rules of origin analysis and supporting documentation. You'll work closely with procurement, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to validate origin qualification outcomes, acting as a subject matter expert in rules of origin, enabling compliant and defensible Preferential Origin qualification decisions across the organization.

This role can be based from one of several Danfoss Power Solutions sites Europe, with a caveat that candidates should expect to be on-site for a minimum of 3 days per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead Preferential Origin qualification activities, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards, ensuring all required documentation is properly collected, validated, and retained to support full regulatory compliance. Qualification agreements could be anywhere globally, including USMCA, EU/UK-based agreements, MERCOSUR, etc.
  • Analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) and supporting data to determine origin qualification
  • Coordinate the collection and validation of supplier origin documentation (LTVDs), ensuring integrity, completeness, and audit readiness
  • Create and provide necessary preferential origin certificate as requested by customers
  • Assess completeness and accuracy of supplier declarations to ensure compliance with PO requirements and mitigate risk exposure
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on rules of origin, qualification outcomes, and potential compliance risks
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, and suppliers to strengthen origin data quality
  • Contribute to duty optimization strategies by ensuring accurate origin qualification and effective use of free trade agreements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
