Job Description

The role is offered on a permanent basis. The hours are full time 37.5 hours per week.

The post holder will work as part of a team in providing quality, effective and appropriate care for those patients accessing the Pregnancy Advisory Service (PAS). Working as an Independent Practitioner, the post holder is accountable for assessing, advising and treating/discharging patients as a Senior Nurse in clinic, acting as a role model for junior members of the team.

Identifying the needs of the patient using a professional non-judgemental approach, respecting their views and values and planning their care.

One of the most challenging parts of the role will be working with patients who are in distress, requiring emotional support or having complex social care needs.
