The Role
As a Premium Client Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of Axi’s UK business by managing and developing relationships with our premium and high-value trading clients.
Working within the Sales team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience, supporting client retention and re-engagement, and identifying sustainable commercial opportunities within your client portfolio. The role will primarily focus on Axi’s premium UK clients, with the potential to support selected international client relationships where appropriate and in line with regulatory requirements.
You will also represent Axi at relevant industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings, while working closely with internal teams to ensure clients receive a professional, compliant and market-leading service.
Your EDGE Assignment / You Will
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with Axi’s premium and high-value clients, primarily across the UK market.
- Manage a portfolio of key clients, ensuring a high-quality, proactive and personalised client experience.
- Understand client needs and coordinate with internal stakeholders to provide timely, effective and compliant support.
- Monitor client engagement, trading activity and account behaviour to identify opportunities for retention, re-engagement and sustainable business growth.
- Identify new business opportunities through approved business development activities, including networking, referrals, introducers, strategic partnerships and industry relationships.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant market participants, trading communities, affiliates, introducing partners and other strategic contacts.
- Maintain an accurate pipeline of opportunities, client interactions and follow-up actions using the CRM system.
- Represent Axi at industry conferences, seminars, webinars, networking events and selected client meetings.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Client Services, Compliance and other internal stakeholders to deliver consistent and positive client outcomes.
- Keep informed of market developments, competitor activity, industry trends and regulatory changes relevant to the UK CFD and financial spread betting market.
- Produce regular updates on pipeline activity, client engagement, retention initiatives and business development performance.
- Conduct all client interactions in accordance with FCA regulatory requirements, Consumer Duty principles, internal policies and Axi’s Code of Conduct, escalating any risks, complaints or regulatory concerns where appropriate.

Are You the One?
- Minimum two years’ experience in a Premium Client Manager, Relationship Manager, Senior Sales or similar client-facing role within an FCA-regulated CFD, financial spread betting or online trading brokerage.
- Demonstrated experience managing, developing and retaining relationships with high-value, active or VIP trading clients.
- Strong understanding of the UK regulated CFD, financial spread betting and online trading market.
- Proven ability to identify commercial opportunities while maintaining a client-centric, compliant and professional approach.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to balance business growth with positive client outcomes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Near-native or fluent English.
- Existing relationships within the UK trading industry, or an established client network, would be advantageous but are not essential.
- Additional language skills are desirable.
- Self-motivated, adaptable and willing to attend client meetings, networking events and industry functions, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Demonstrates the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and ethical conduct.
