We’re offering:

  • A competitive basic salary: £29,200 to £36,440 (annually); hourly rate based on a 42-hour working week
  • An additional performance bonus within your reach
  • A generous £2,000 sign-on bonus¹
    • £1,000 in month one
    • Plus £1,000 in month 13

About The Role

As a Prep Technician, you’ll excel in ensuring every vehicle meets the highest industry standards before delivery to customers. Precision and quality are your treasures, guaranteeing our clients receive exceptional service and craftsmanship every time.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles
  • Work efficiently to meet scheduled timeframes while maintaining high-quality output
  • Adhere to manufacturer standards strictly across all work
  • Achieve right-first-time outcomes and sustain IMT-level productivity

What We Are Looking For

To thrive in this role and contribute effectively:

  • Educational background: A Level 3 qualification in Automotive (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent textbook-level qualification)

  • Experience demands: Proven track record with ** Vehicle Technician** or Prep Technician roles

  • Desirable qualification: Valid/active MOT licence (though not mandatory)

  • Tools of the trade: Your own comprehensive set of tools to get tasks done efficiently

  • Certifications/licences: Full, active UK driving licence
