We are looking for a customer-focused Pre-Sales Consultant
We are looking for a customer-focused Pre-Sales Consultant on a six-month fixed term contract to help our customers understand the value of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations as part of a wider ERP and business applications platform.
This role sits at the centre of the sales process, working alongside Account Executives, Solution Architects, Delivery Consultants and Microsoft teams to shape solutions, deliver demonstrations and support customer decision-making.
You will understand how Dynamics 365 Project Operations integrates with Finance, Dataverse, Power Platform and Microsoft 365, helping customers visualise how a connected Microsoft solution can improve operational efficiency, project delivery and financial performance. The ideal candidate combines strong functional knowledge with excellent communication skills and enjoys turning customer challenges into compelling solution stories.
Responsibilities
Demonstrations & Storytelling
- Design and deliver engaging Dynamics 365 demonstrations tailored to individual customer scenarios
- Demonstrate how the Dynamics 365 ecosystem connects into a single business process
- Create compelling "art of the possible" demonstrations that showcase business transformation opportunities
- Present confidently to both operational users and senior stakeholders
Discovery & Solution Shaping
- Understand current business processes, project delivery challenges and operational pain points
- Translate customer requirements into solution concepts aligned to Microsoft technology
- Lead business discovery workshops with prospective customers
- Support qualification activities and help identify solution fit

Microsoft Platform Expertise
- Showcase capabilities across:
- Dynamics 365 Project Operations (including dual write)
- Dynamics 365 Finance
- Dataverse
- Power Platform
- Copilot and AI capabilities
- Microsoft 365
- Explain how the Microsoft platform works together to provide an integrated ERP, CRM and productivity solution.
Demo Environment & Configuration
- Configure demonstration environments to support sales opportunities
- Configure Proof of Concepts (POC) for prospective customers
- Adapt forms, fields, workflows and user experiences to reflect customer scenarios
- Create realistic demonstration data and business processes
- Work with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are achievable and aligned with implementation best practice
Sales Support
- Support proposals, RFPs, RFIs and customer presentations
- Collaborate with Microsoft sellers and solution specialists on joint opportunities
- Contribute to reusable demonstrations, solution playbooks and industry assets
- Support the continual evolution of ERP Advisors' Project Operations and ERP go-to-market capability

Key Accountabilities
- Act as a trusted solution advisor throughout the sales cycle
- Deliver high-quality customer demonstrations and workshops
- Maintain strong knowledge of the Microsoft Business Applications ecosystem
- Support successful conversion of qualified opportunities
- Aligns transparent, outcome-driven approach that builds trust and delivers measurable value
- Contribute to the development of industry-specific demonstrations and accelerators
- Help strengthen ERP Advisors' market position as a specialist Project Operations partner
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a pre-sales, technical consulting, or solution architect role within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem
- Deep understanding of Project Operations and related modules such as D365 Finance and Project Management & Accounting
- Experience showcasing the full Microsoft stack, including:
- Power Platform (especially Power BI and Power Apps)
- Dataverse
- Copilot and AI-assisted productivity tools
- Microsoft 365
- Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences
- Experience working with Enterprise Sales teams across multiple geographies and time zones
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Project Operations, Finance, or related modules
- Experience with ERP systems in project-based industries
- Background in Engineering, Construction, or Field Services is a plus
