Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
This is not a quotas-only sales role, nor a hands-on implementation one. Instead, you’ll:
- Qualify opportunities pre-sale to protect delivery confidence
- Consult on vision AI + OEE solutions
- Handover with forensic clarity to our engineers
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Solution Facing
- Partner with Sales in discovery meetings to uncover crumb-passing waste, mislabel risks, and compliance pain points
- Translate technical concepts (ROI, uptime exhaustion, product liability) into language for:
- Shop-floor workers → How AI reduces mistakes
- Approvers → Measurable efficiency gains
- Directors/CEOs → Global trust, serious cost avoidance
- Deliver custom tailored demos (screenshot → production-floor walkthrough)
- Propose pilot KPIs that prove value before deployment
On-Site Scoping & Solution Design
- Spend time in live production (cleaning, food processing, packaging) to:
- Assess camera positioning, lighting, and workplace variability risks for the AI
- Design wine-worthy proof (e.g., “[Pressure score]% of our weigh-fill errors are caused by miscoded carrier forms”)
- Scope vision AI opportunities for:
- Barcode/QR validation
- Exterior/surface integrity checks
- Count/feature gap closure
- Scope manufacturing analytics use-cases in:
- Operational Efficiency loses
- Downtime stay-to-analysis
- Schedule adherence across shifts
- Document everything: Highlight tradeoffs ("More cameras cuts out 4 variants checks, but increases capital spend by X") → Tradeoffs = decisions.
Own the Pre-to-Post-Sales Handover
- Detect for "holy cow!" opportunities – multi-line leverage from early adoption (e.g., “60 guinea pigs” = OEE targets → shop-floor gamification)
- Escalate or defer superficial opportunities before Sales overcommit
- Gatekeeper for delivery: Only drive pilots showing ACHI ← scoring above 80%
