Presales Consultant - ERP/Financial SaaS - Public Sector
UK Home based/Some Travel
£60-75K, Car and Bonus
My client, a leading provider of Transformation Consultancy within the ERP Sector, require a Presales Consultant with a background in ERP Solutions within the Public sector to work with their clients and prospects to understand their business challenges, design tailored system architectures, and deliver compelling software demonstrations that prove the value of the ERP solution and related services.
Duties:
- Discovery: Leading requirements-gathering workshops to uncover deep business pain points
- Solution Architecture: Designing system workflows that align with the prospect's specific industry and processes (e.g., finance, manufacturing, or supply chain).
- Demonstrations: Building and presenting custom Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to C-level executives and key stakeholders.
- Proposal Management: Answering technical and functional questions for RFIs (Requests for Information) and RFPs (Requests for Proposal)

- Presales: Proven track record of Presales activity within the Public Sector ERP Sector
- ERP Platforms: Significant experience of working with Solutions such as Netsuite, SAP, Unit 4, Civica Financials, IBS etc.
- Business Acumen: A deep understanding of core Finance business operations.
- Exceptional Communication: The ability to translate complex, technical software features into clear business outcomes and ROI.
- Technical Curiosity: Continuous learning of evolving SaaS architectures, cloud platforms, and platform roadmaps
- Collaboration: Working seamlessly with both internal sales reps and post-sale implementation consultants to ensure smooth handoffs
