Pre Sales Consultant / Solutions Architect (Microsoft)
Location: Home Based (South UK Travel Required)
Ideal locations: London, Surrey, Brighton, Hampshire, Sussex or surrounding areas
Salary: Up to £70,000 + £30,000 OTE + Excellent Benefits
Are you an experienced Pre Sales Consultant, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant with a passion for designing Microsoft-led solutions?
I'm working with a rapidly growing Managed Service Provider that's investing heavily in its technical consulting function and is looking to appoint an experienced Presales Consultant to support customers across the South of England.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with an outstanding reputation for customer service, innovation, and employee engagement, where you'll work alongside experienced sales, consultancy and engineering teams to design modern workplace, cloud and managed service solutions for a diverse SMB customer base.
The Role
As a trusted technical advisor, you'll work closely with Commercial Directors and Account Managers to understand customer challenges, lead technical discovery sessions and design practical, commercially viable solutions.

- You'll play a key role throughout the sales lifecycle, from customer workshops and solution design through to proposal creation and handover into delivery.
- You'll also build long-term relationships with customers, acting as a strategic technology advisor and helping organisations develop their cloud and digital transformation roadmaps.
- The role is predominantly home-based, although you'll be expected to travel to customer sites across the South of England and attend regional offices when required.

What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with experienced Presales Consultants, Solutions Architects and Technical Consultants who have:
- Previous experience within an MSP, VAR or IT Services business
- Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure solution design experience
- A solid understanding of managed services and cloud technologies
- Excellent customer-facing and consultancy skills
- Experience leading discovery workshops and translating business requirements into technical solutions
- The ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A commercial mindset with the ability to support and influence the sales process

Microsoft certifications would be advantageous, although practical experience and customer engagement skills are equally important.
