Europe's #1 and world's #4 in retail software — that's GK. Now wholly owned by Fujitsu, we pair deep retail expertise with global scale, AI, and cloud innovation — an exciting time to join. Remote-first, 55+ nationalities, 14 offices worldwide. Retail never stands still — and neither do we. As a Presales Solutions Consultant, you're central to how leading retailers discover and choose GK. Partnering with Sales, you'll support pursuits with Europe's largest grocery, fashion, and general-merchandise retailers — validating technical fit across our unified-commerce suite: POS, edge/cloud store solutions, payments, and promotions. Your mission: turn complex retail technology into clear, compelling value. This role is for someone who loves retail and technology equally, brings rare technical depth paired with outstanding communication, and thrives in a tight-knit, high-trust team where curiosity and a can-do mindset matter as much as expertise.
100% Remote – Germany, UK, or Europe.
What you’ll do
- Lead customer engagements — demonstrations and presentations — for the GK Product Suite, with both new and existing customers.
- Develop technical solution designs and craft persuasive proposals and presentations tailored to each customer’s reality.
- Partner closely with Sales as one team, bringing the technical expertise and solution storytelling that wins trust and deals.
- Capture and document customer requirements, and channel product feature requests back into standardization.
- Support RFI/RFP processes, assuring the quality of functional and technical proposal documents at every stage of the sales cycle.
- Conduct and support Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
- Produce clear technical guidelines and documentation (Confluence, Jira, Teams channels and more).
- Collaborate closely with our Product colleagues, feeding real customer insight back into the roadmap.
- Work hand in hand with Sales, Product and Professional Services around every customer.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you bring
- Retail technology expertise: A real understanding of retail and the technology behind it. You bring an IT-grounded background, whether as an IT or business-informatics professional or through hands-on experience inside a retail IT organization.
- Proven experience: Solid, hands-on experience in presales, consulting, or a closely related retail/IT role. What matters most is that you bring the knowledge and expertise with you from day one.
- Communication and presentation: You can hold a room, explain the complex simply, and — just as importantly — truly listen. With fantastic organisational and presentational qualities, you win trust through substance and deliver with polish.
- Curiosity and drive: A genuine “I’ll figure it out” attitude. You’re driven to dig in, solve complex problems and customer challenges, and get the best out of every opportunity.
- Team spirit: We hire people who lift the team up. Technical brilliance matters, but here it goes hand in hand with collaboration — we work as one team, and supporting each other is part of how we succeed.
- Languages: Very good written and spoken English is essential given our international customer base. German is welcome but not required.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with preferred partner products such as SAP is an advantage.
