Microsoft Business Applications Pre-Sales Consultant

Location: UK (Hybrid/Remote) Salary: £60,000 - £100,000 + Benefits

Overview

We're looking for an experienced Microsoft Business Applications Pre-Sales Consultant to join our growing practice, focusing on delivering transformational solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. This role will concentrate on modernising and optimising business processes through the use of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC), and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). Working closely with sales, delivery, and architecture teams, you will engage with customers to address business challenges, shape solution strategies, deliver demonstrations, and support the entire pre-sales lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will combine strong expertise in Microsoft Business Applications with exceptional client-facing skills and the ability to articulate technical solutions in compelling commercial terms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales and account teams to qualify and refine new business opportunities.
  • Conduct discovery workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
  • Build trusted relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Design and deliver engaging demonstrations across Dynamics 365 CE, Business Central, and Finance & Operations.
  • Lead solution design discussions and support customers in defining transformation roadmaps.
  • Develop proof of concepts and highlight the value of Microsoft Business Applications solutions.
  • Produce solution proposals, statements of work, project estimates, and responses to RFP’s, RFI’s, and ITTs.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Microsoft-based solutions.
  • Present technical and functional concepts to both business and executive audiences.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Delivery Teams to ensure seamless handover from sales to project delivery.
  • Support marketing and demand-generation initiatives, including webinars, workshops, industry events, and customer roundtables.
  • Contribute to the development of solution offerings, accelerators, and best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
