Prescription Services Team Leader | Pharmacy Operations Team Leader

About the Role

Our Prescription Services Team is pivotal in ensuring medicines reach patients safely and efficiently through seamless processes bridging prescribing clinicians and internal pharmacy operations. We are seeking a confident, proactive Office-Based Pharmacy Operations Team Leader to drive excellence in clinical fulfilment operations—managing team performance, optimising workflows, and upholding the strictest regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of administrators, dispensers, or trainee dispensers, ensuring workloads are managed teleologically and supporting career progression with relevant qualifications.
  • Deliver against operational KPIs, monitor performance, and foster accountability.
  • Identify opportunities to increase productivity and quality by analysing trends and optimising processes.
  • Maintain robust quality measures, including monthly reviews and individual quality-focused check-ins with team members.
  • Conduct regular documented 1:1s, performance reviews, and manage capability/disciplinary processes as required.
  • Proactively drive service development by reviewing current processes and proposing improvements.
