About the Role
Our Prescription Services Team is pivotal in ensuring medicines reach patients safely and efficiently through seamless processes bridging prescribing clinicians and internal pharmacy operations. We are seeking a confident, proactive Office-Based Pharmacy Operations Team Leader to drive excellence in clinical fulfilment operations—managing team performance, optimising workflows, and upholding the strictest regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of administrators, dispensers, or trainee dispensers, ensuring workloads are managed teleologically and supporting career progression with relevant qualifications.
- Deliver against operational KPIs, monitor performance, and foster accountability.
- Identify opportunities to increase productivity and quality by analysing trends and optimising processes.
- Maintain robust quality measures, including monthly reviews and individual quality-focused check-ins with team members.
- Conduct regular documented 1:1s, performance reviews, and manage capability/disciplinary processes as required.
- Proactively drive service development by reviewing current processes and proposing improvements.
