Presentation Chef – Nomad Foods

Location: Leeds or Woking (Hybrid working model) Contract: Competitive salary (up to 25% bonus) and excellent benefits package

About the Role

We’re excited to find a Passionate Culinary Expert to join Nomad Foods as the Presentation Chef—the culinary face of Birds Eye in the UK.

In this visible, dynamic role, you’ll:

  • Bring our iconic frozen brands to life through creative food storytelling, engaging customer experiences, and a food-first culture.
  • Lead customer presentations, brand events, and digital content that showcase our products in fresh, compelling ways.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and R&D teams to align on trends and innovation.
  • Be the trusted culinary authority for both internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary Leadership & Product Showcase

  • Act as the culinary ambassador for Birds Eye, representing our brands with excpertise and passion.
  • Lead customer events, brand planning days, and product showcases with engaging storytelling.
  • Create inspiring recipes and food demos that highlight our products in their best light.

Culture Building & Internal Influence

  • Champion a food-first culture across the business, fostering proudness and confidence in our products.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Research teams to align on food innovation and consumer trends.
  • Develop effective training materials to ensure a strong understanding of our products across departments.

Content & Digital Engagement

  • Support the creation of high-impact food content for social media and digital platforms.
  • Stay ahead of food trends and share insights with the business.

Recipe & Nutrition Leadership

  • Design recipes that balance consumer appeal, nutrition, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure all offerings align with company nutrition standards and guidelines.

What We’re Looking For

Your Background

  • Proven experience as a chef in high-end restaurants, hospitality, or professional kitchens.
  • A passionate advocate for food, brands, and consumer experiences.

Key Skills

✅ Strong presentation and influencer skills—comfortable engaging with customers and senior stakeholders. ✅ Experience in content creation for social media or digital platforms. ✅ Deep knowledge of nutrition principles and how they apply to recipe development. ✅ Insight into current food trends and consumer preferences. ✅ FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry experience, preferably within frozen food or branded retail. ✅ Collaborative mindset—ability to work cross-functionally and deliver results-driven initiatives.
