Presentations Associate
Salary: £35,000 per annum, plus company benefits
Location: Leeds LS10
Contract: Permanent, full time
Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm, 1-hour unpaid lunch
Work model: Hybrid; 3 days in office, 2 remote

Purpose of Role
The Presentations Team Leader will bring proven people management experience, advanced expertise in PowerPoint and Excel, strong working knowledge of Word, and a demonstrated ability to manage workflow queues within a fast-paced production environment.
In this role, you will lead the Document Production Team, overseeing the effective management and prioritisation of incoming requests while working closely with clients to deliver high-quality presentation and document services. You will be responsible for producing and reviewing materials across PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of accuracy, consistency, quality, and adherence to corporate brand guidelines.
The successful candidate will take ownership of work from receipt through to delivery, managing deadlines, quality expectations, and client communications throughout the process. You will provide a professional, consultative, and customer-focused service, handling queries efficiently while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
As a team leader, you will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence, supporting and developing team members, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture. You will act as an ambassador for Williams Lea's values and reputation, ensuring client requirements are met effectively while driving service quality and continuous improvement across the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and deliver a 1st class service in line with the presentations service departmental processes
- Manage workflow and deputise the Operations / Account Manager when required
- Accurately create and amend presentations/documents in a timely manner and to corporate standards
- Ensure all work is quality checked/proofed to the highest standards and delivered right at the first time
- Estimate production time before each job to ensure deadline adherence
- Communicate effectively with the Client and your team, as appropriate, to help effectively manage operational needs and manage client expectations
- Deploy excellent communication skills by producing clear, comprehensive, and effective handovers for any incoming staff
- Deliver template and process training for new Presentations Services recruits
- Ensure adherence to all departmental, company and client policies and procedures
- Report operational / IT problems, as appropriate
- Ensure a professional attitude and appearance (use of corporate dress code) at all times
- Manage team’s performance, development, attendance, time keeping and conduct annual appraisals
- Monitor and manage SLA adherence in line with contractual requirements
- Assist Account Operations Manager with month end processes
- Deliver template training to new joiners within the Banking community
Key Competencies
- Experienced people manager with proven track record of excellent client facing skills and good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel (Office 2016)
- Very good knowledge of complex chart creation and solving issues in Excel
- Ability to work in PowerPoint master slides, working with themes and experience of creating PPT templates
- Confident approach to working with all the MS office applications and ability to learn fast on the job
- Thinking of creative ways to display clients’ information on slides in engaging ways
- Possess great attention to detail and a critical eye for accuracy, with a ‘right first time’ attitude
- Excellent customer service skills, and standard of delivery, confident in liaising with clients, deploying good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, showing delivery focus, as well as adaptability and flexible approach
- A proven track record of training and developing others
