Are you Press Brake Setter / Operator looking for your next permanent position? Is Nelson in Lancashire somewhere you could easily commute to? Would a salary of between £30000 - £35000 DOE be something you're happy with? Have you got experience using Trumpf equipment? Suitable candidates will be called and given additional information on the company and the position. You will be working on a state of the art piece of machinery along with a couple of older models
Duties include:
- Produce quality folded components to a high standard consistently from programmes, drawings and data supplied by the Production Manager.
- Assist the Production Manager in the efficient use of plant and tooling within the section. Identify and solve problems before folding operations commence and report all such instances to the Production Manager.
- Identify any order shortages before folding operations commence and inform the Leading Hand.
- Suggest improvements to the production process and procedure to maintain the highest standards of quality for both our external customers and internal companies.
- Monitor the safe use of all machines and tooling within the folding section and report any machine issues, breakdowns, tooling damage or any other issues likely to impact productivity or the safety of team members to the Leading Hand.
- Monitor the condition of all hand tools and measuring equipment within the section and to ensure that all tools are fit for purpose. A list of hand tools and equipment issued to each team member is attached
