Hours: 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday.

Role Overview

The Press Brake Operative is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend and form metal components to specification. This role requires attention to detail, a focus on quality, and the ability to work efficiently within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake machines in line with job specifications
  • Read and interpret basic engineering drawings
  • Select correct tooling and materials for each job
  • Carry out basic quality checks to ensure accuracy
  • Make minor adjustments to maintain consistency and quality
  • Load and unload materials safely
  • Keep work area clean and organised
  • Follow production schedules and meet targets
