🔭 The Role: Shaping Malt’s European Voice
You’ll join the Corporate Communications & Public Affairs team in London, driving Malt’s narrative as the definitive platform for the future of work.
Key Responsibilities ✨
- Define and execute Malt’s European PR strategy, with UK market focus, positioning the brand as an industry leader in freelancing and AI talent.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with:
- Top-tier journalists (e.g., media outlets covering tech, HR, and business trends)
- Specialist media outlets and analytics providers
- Act as a strategic thought leader for the CEO and exec team, positioning Malt globally:
- Develop executive messaging and spokesperson narratives.
- Write high-impact content: op-eds, research papers, and business insights aligned with company goals.
- Work closely with the communication agency, ensuring:
- DNA-driven campaigns (authenticity first).
- Maximising media clippings and reach.
- Media coordination:
- Organise interviews, press events, and partnerships (e.g., Tech & HR networks).
- Handle institutional relations and crisis communications as needed.

🚀 About You: What We’re Looking For
- Education: Degree in communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 7+ years in corporate PR/communications, preferably in tech or senior public sector.
- Deep-pull in a scaling organisation with senior leadership experience.
- Network: A strong liason network of journalist contacts (essential).
- Languages: Native-level English is mandatory; French fluency is a plus.
- Graces & Skills:
- Strategic + agile: Balancing hypergrowth demands while managing stakeholderbuy-in (especially executives).
- Eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative startup culture.
