Pressure Test & Chlorination Operative

Team Member – Water & Wastewater Capital Projects Team

Right across infrastructure, here, we don’t just maintain—we renew and reimagine. At every stage of your career, you’ll have the opportunity to grow and develop. Join an organisation that delivers essential infrastructure services with a safety-first, client-centric focus in a kind, inclusive, and results-driven environment that encourages you to thrive.

About the Role

We enable clients to safeguard water supply, improve environmental performance, and manage demand for future generations. Our teams enhance and extend critical assets, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.

This role sits with our Water and Wastewater Capital Project Delivery Team, where dedicated professionals deliver large-scale capital programmes to ensure resilient water infrastructure—for the long term and with environmental protection at foreground.

Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Executing Type 1 and Type 2 pressure tests in line with relevant specifications.
  • Conducting cleansing and chlorination of potable water pipes in accordance with standards.
  • Collecting a full suite of bacteriological and physical water quality samples, including completing required sample run sheets.
  • Ensuring delivery of samples to client laboratories within prescribed timescales while supporting the clean water programme.
  • Performing perchlorination of HPPE (High-Pressure Polyethylene) coils to disinfect drinking water pipelines, ensuring compliance before commissioning.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
