JUNIOR PRICING ANALYST

THE OUTNET is now seeking a talented Junior Pricing Analyst to join the team. The successful candidate will support pricing and promotional analysis, contribute to process improvements and the implementation of new tools, and deliver reporting and insights to support commercial decision-making.

  • Location: The Village Offices, Westfield London, Ariel Way, Shepherds Bush, London
  • Reporting into: Pricing Manager
  • Direct reports: None

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

Pricing & Promotional Analysis

  • Coordinate the setup and execution of promotional campaigns in collaboration with the Site Trading and Merchandising teams.
  • Work closely with the Pricing Analyst and Pricing Manager to assess risks and ensure promotions align with the commercial strategy.
  • Deliver post-promotion analysis and insights to support future promotional planning.
  • Analyse pricing performance, promotional effectiveness and commercial initiatives.
  • Produce regular reports and identify trends and opportunities to support pricing decisions.

Pricing Operations & Execution

  • Execute pricing updates and promotional activities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Buying and Site Trading teams to maintain pricing accuracy across systems.
  • Validate pricing changes and investigate pricing-related issues.

Process Improvement & Tools

  • Support the continuous improvement of pricing processes and workflows.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new pricing tools and system enhancements, including testing and user feedback.
  • Become a key user ("super user") of pricing systems and support the onboarding and training of internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a first point of contact for pricing tool and process queries.

The type of person we are looking for:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups; experience building reports would be advantageous.
  • Interest in pricing, commercial analytics and process improvement.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Curious, proactive and eager to learn new systems and tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
