Selby Jennings are partnering with a leading global specialty insurer to hire a Pricing Analyst into their London-based actuarial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an actuary with a pricing background who wants broader exposure across multiple lines of business while working closely with experienced pricing actuaries and underwriters. The role combines case pricing, portfolio analysis, model development and pricing strategy, offering a strong mix of technical and commercial exposure.

You'll play a key role in supporting pricing decisions, enhancing pricing models, and delivering insights that directly influence underwriting performance. The team is also investing in automation and modern analytical tools, making it a great environment for someone looking to develop their technical skillset.

Requirements

  • Actuarial experience within General Insurance Pricing
  • Part-qualified or qualified actuary
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with large datasets and Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively with underwriting and actuarial stakeholders
  • Python or R experience beneficial
  • London Market or specialty insurance exposure advantageous
