Bristol
Hybrid (2 days per week in office)

This is a hands-on analytical role where your work directly supports real commercial decisions from modelling and optimisation through to forecasting and governance.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, looking at tactical pricing reviews and data manipulation. You’ll be working in an exciting, fast-paced environment, looking at products and ways to drive revenue within the business.

Responsibilities include:
- Support delivery of consumer pricing strategy and initiatives, driving trading performance and profitability
- Build and enhance pricing models to predict customer behaviour
- Analyse price trials and competitor pricing data to support pricing optimisation
- Create forecasting models and clearly explain weekly and annual variance
- Reconcile, validate, and prepare datasets to ensure pricing analysis and modelling inputs are robust
- Monitor pricing model performance over time and recommend corrective action where required
- Ensure all pricing activity aligns with FCA regulatory guidance
- Work closely with other squads in the business, including collaboration with the Pricing, Finance, Marketing, and Insights teams
- Build strong working relationships with compliance colleagues to ensure pricing remains fair and compliant
Skills required:
- Degree in a numerical subject
- Experience in pricing, analytics, or a relevant field such as Insurance, Banking, or Finance, or a strong academic focus
- Solid understanding of pricing and analytical techniques
- Highly numerate with strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau/strong Excel
- If you have experience with Python or R, this would be advantageous; however, it is not essential for this role
- Strong delivery focus when handling complex analytical challenges
- Confident stakeholder management skills, being a strong communicator and able to build trust and credibility
- Commercially minded with good financial acumen
