Estimator - (Pricing / Tendering) Location - Leeds (Easy access via M62, M621, M1) Salary - Competitive + Company or Car Allowance An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pricing professional / Estimator who has knowledge of JCT / NEC contracts. This is a hands on role and will involve travel to customer premises where you will review the site and works required, survey site /take measurements and consider things such as access and any other challenges to the work. Based at our Leeds Head Office and reporting to the Commercial Director, the Estimator will prepare robust time and cost estimates for new work enquiries. Enquiries will include a of range high value, long term contracts/framework agreements and a series of one-off projects with individual contract values of c. £300K. All works enquires will comprise elements of fire protection including fire stopping, fire doors and active fire protection systems (fire alarms, emergency lighting systems and dampers). Whilst experience of fire protection solutions would be beneficial, industry and product training can be provided for the right candidate with relevant role experience. Duties will include: • Prepare priced response to a rolling pipeline of tender enquiries • Work with Operational and Commercial colleagues to help develop proposals • Keep detailed records of all enquiry documentation, including site assessments and contract terms • Balance multiple enquiries at once, ensuring deadlines are met • Keep systems used to manage and report pipeline progress up to date • Work within a well-established framework when analysing enquiries, identifying any potential risks and devising mitigation strategies • Maintain relationships with existing clients keeping a sales-minded attitude, extending to building relationships with existing and new clients What you will bring: Previous experience within an Estimator / Tender delivery position Experience of pricing for long term service contracts Excellent customer service / stakeholder management skills Strong commercial acumen and an appreciation for cost efficiency IT Literate (Good working knowledge of microsoft packages) Knowledge of JCT / NEC contract submissions Strong project management skills Team player able to work effectively with multiple departments What you'll get in return: 29 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) Company car or car allowance of £7200 per annum Competitive salary depended upon experience Chance for career development Medicash health care plan Life insurance Free on-site parking Neo Property Solutions, part of the PTSG Group, deliver specialist passive fire protection services, including Fire Compartmentation Surveys, Fire Door Surveys, Fire Stopping and Fire Compartmentation Works, executed as part of a rolling programme of annual inspection and/or rectification works required across multi-occupancy housing, buildings of public amenity, healthcare facilities, education establishments, student accommodation blocks and security sensitive office buildings and workplaces.
