What You'll Do
As a Pricing Manager at Sainsbury's, you will play a crucial role in the Pricing team by managing the pricing of our channels, as well as supporting the development of pricing capabilities and rulesets across Food Commercial based on strategic frameworks. Your responsibilities will include:

Additionally, you will:
- Act as a subject matter expert on pricing analytics and insights
- Lead pricing management and performance reporting for channels
- Provide specialist pricing and range support to drive strategic advice and channel pricing decisions
Who You Are
You are a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge of pricing strategies and a deep understanding of pricing analytics and business planning. With your expertise in analysing large datasets and generating meaningful insights, you excel in providing valuable decision-making support and driving commercial transformation through strategic pricing initiatives. Your strong stakeholder management and communication skills, coupled with your passion for retail markets and customer insights, enable you to lead cross-functional teams and champion change in a dynamic and competitive market landscape.
Essential Criteria
- Highly proficient in Pricing Analytics. A deep understanding and ability to curate algorithms, understand concepts and identify trends through data.
- Experience in senior management stakeholder engagement, sharing meaningful insights and presenting strategic pricing recommendations.
- Proven track record of driving commercial transformation through strategic pricing initiatives.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams
- Capability to champion change in a dynamic and competitive market landscape
- Experience or passion in retail markets and customer insights.
