Role Description
Allianz Personal are looking for a Pricing Manager to join our Pricing Portfolio team, leading pricing activity across the Allianz and Britannia Motor Portfolio. You will be responsible for delivering the financial performance of our Motor products distributed through key partnership channels, while shaping the future direction of pricing capability across the business.
Location
This role is a hybrid role based in our London office.
About You
Your role will vary day to day, but you can expect to:
- Lead pricing activity for the Allianz and Britannia Motor Portfolio, ensuring delivery of financial and underwriting targets
- Define and deliver pricing analysis projects that improve underwriting performance while supporting GWP growth through competitive pricing
- Review and approve the ongoing builds for our Radar Live rating models and provide support to the team.
- Influence Motor product development by identifying innovative underwriting and segmentation opportunities to drive profitable growth
- Establish and maintain robust portfolio pricing reviews that feed into and compliment our optimisation processes.
- Manage, mentor and develop a team of pricing analysts, acting as a role model within the Pricing function
Essential Skills
- Strong pricing portfolio expertise, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and introduce innovative solutions
- Experience delivering financial targets through the application of Risk Premium models, combined with strong commercial awareness of the personal lines insurance market
- Exposure to tools such as Radar Live, Databricks and Machine Learning models, or equivalent pricing technologies within an insurance environment
- Proven experience of managing and developing junior team members
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across pricing, underwriting and wider business teams

Desirable Skills
- Previous experience within Motor insurance pricing; candidates from other personal lines backgrounds will also be considered
- Knowledge or experience of Pricing Optimisation techniques and their impact on market competitiveness and customer outcomes
- Experience working within partnership or scheme-based distribution models
- Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage
Salary Information
