What is the job?
We’re looking for a Pricing & Margin Manager to join our Retail team. This is a newly created role where you’ll have the opportunity to shape how we price across the entire Cineworld experience.
From popcorn to drinks, and our wider food and franchise offering, pricing plays a huge part in how our customers experience the big screen. Sitting at the heart of our commercial function, you’ll bring a more joined-up, data-led approach to how we price, promote and deliver value, ensuring we stay competitive while maximising performance.
Working cross-functionally with Category, Operations, Marketing, Procurement and Finance, you’ll connect the dots between customer behaviour, market trends and commercial outcomes, helping us make smarter decisions and driving continuous improvement across the business.
Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on skills & experience
Contract: Full Time & Permanent
Location: Currently Brentford, TW8 9AG, but relocating to Ealing, W5 5JN from approx. October. This is a hybrid role with 4 days on-site.
What will you be doing?
- You’ll shape and own pricing across our retail categories, ensuring a clear, consistent approach that balances customer value with commercial performance
- You’ll use data and insight to understand customer behaviour, pricing elasticity and market trends, turning this into actionable recommendations
- You’ll work closely with Category teams to optimise promotions, bundles and offers, making sure they drive both engagement and margin
- You’ll track and improve margin performance, identifying opportunities and trends across sites, regions and product categories
- You’ll bring together internal data, supplier insight and competitor benchmarking to keep us competitive and continuously evolving
About you
- You’ll have experience in a pricing, insight or commercial role, ideally within retail, hospitality or a customer-led environment
- You’ll be confident working with data, with strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset (Power BI or similar being very desirable.
- You’ll understand how pricing impacts customer behaviour and be able to apply concepts like elasticity in a practical way
- You’ll be a clear and confident communicator, able to bring insight to life and influence a range of stakeholders
- You’ll bring strong commercial awareness and a genuine interest in improving performance and customer value
