Pride in Place Programme Manager
Hosted by Crawley Borough Council, the Pride in Place Programme Manager works collaboratively with the Bewbush Neighbourhood Board, project leads, partners, and stakeholders to deliver a multi-faceted programme addressing local priorities and voices.
** Responsibilities**
- Oversee the development, delivery, and implementation of the Pride in Place Programme
- Lead programme governance, monitoring, reporting, and risk management
- Act as the lead officer and secretariat for the Bewbush Neighbourhood Board
- Support project leads in developing clear, deliverable plans aligned with agreed budgets and timescales
- Manage programme finances, ensuring compliance with government and council requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and senior leaders
- Lead monitoring, evaluation, and performance reporting to the UK Government
Requirements
You will need strong programme or project management experience, ideally in regeneration or economic development, within a local government or public sector context. Essential qualities include:

- Proven experience in managing complex, multi-strand programmes and budgets
- Strong partnership working, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, including report writing and presentations
- Experience in political environments and advising senior decision makers
- A structured, proactive approach to risk, governance, and performance management
- A commitment to equality, inclusion, safeguarding, and public service values
Qualifications & Experience
- A degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) is essential
- Desirable: Administration of government-funded programmes

Contract & Working Conditions
- Two-year fixed-term contract
