Salary
From £60K - £68K FtE annually, depending on experience and qualification.
About the Role
We are currently looking for Paramedics with 5 years experience+ for a GP practice support role in SW London to support the practice team with morning triage, home visits and in practice clinics.
Working Hours: 2-4 days per week, depending on availability.

We are actively seeking enthusiastic Paramedics who are interested in becoming part of a local initiative in the Croydon area. Our expanding array of exciting and diverse projects offers a unique opportunity for those seeking a forward-thinking clinical role.
The Role will require a commitment to register on a First Contact Practitioner pathway (FCP), which we will fully support you in, if you are not already on the register.
Responsibilities
- Triage - 3 hours in the morning
- Acute and chronic disease management for patients at home or in a care home
- In practice clinics for acute conditions
- General patient management
- COPD/ asthma reviews
- ECGs, BP checks and phlebotomy
- Learning disability, dementia health checks
- Visiting house-bound or vulnerable patients
- And much more
You will collaborate closely with GPs and other Healthcare Professionals, conducting patient assessments, assisting with care plans, making referrals to community teams, updating records, ensuring patient safety, administering vaccinations, and managing patients within the appropriate care setting.

Requirements
Essential
- HCPC registered Paramedic since 2021 or earlier
- Prescriber
- Interested in dealing with patient care in the community
- Willingness to complete essential development and portfolio work
- Interested in Triage and able to manage patients independently
Desirable
- Urgent and Primary Care HEE level 6 education
- First Contact Practitioner level 7
