Graduate Teaching Assistant – Outstanding Primary School (Full-Time, Fixed Term)

Location: Brent (near Kensal Rise)

Pay: £500 – £550 per week

Contract: Full-time, 1-Year Fixed Term

Start Date: September 2026

A high-performing and Outstanding-rated primary school in Brent (near Kensal Rise) is seeking exceptional Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time, fixed-term basis.

About the Role:

  • Work closely with class teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning
  • Lead small group interventions in literacy and numeracy
  • Provide targeted academic support to help pupils reach their full potential
  • Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

  • Use your initiative while also working effectively as part of a team

Candidate Requirements:

  • A 1st Class or strong 2:1 degree from a Russell Group or top university
  • Excellent academic background, including very strong A Levels and GCSEs
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills – essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
  • A genuine passion for education and a long-term career in teaching
  • Confidence in delivering small group interventions
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding

Interview Process:

  • Candidates will take part in a trial day within the school
  • You must hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one prior to the trial
