Graduate Teaching Assistant – Outstanding Primary School (Full-Time, Fixed Term)
Location: Brent (near Kensal Rise)
Pay: £500 – £550 per week
Contract: Full-time, 1-Year Fixed Term
Start Date: September 2026

A high-performing and Outstanding-rated primary school in Brent (near Kensal Rise) is seeking exceptional Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time, fixed-term basis.

About the Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic development and classroom engagement. You will:

- Work closely with class teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning
- Lead small group interventions in literacy and numeracy
- Provide targeted academic support to help pupils reach their full potential
- Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Promote a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Use your initiative while also working effectively as part of a team
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, academically strong, and committed to making a real impact in the classroom.
Candidate Requirements:
- A 1st Class or strong 2:1 degree from a Russell Group or top university
- Excellent academic background, including very strong A Levels and GCSEs
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills – essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
- A genuine passion for education and a long-term career in teaching
- Confidence in delivering small group interventions
- A strong understanding of safeguarding

Interview Process:
- Candidates will take part in a trial day within the school
- You must hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one prior to the trial
