Primary School PPA Teacher - Barking & Dagenham, London, ACADEMICS

Primary School PPA Teacher – Barking & Dagenham, London

About the Role

Are you an experienced primary school teacher seeking to cover PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) time at a high-quality primary school in Barking & Dagenham, London, starting from September 2026?

Are you looking for a way to keep teaching without the full responsibilities of a class teacher, while gaining experience across Nursery to Year 6?

Or perhaps you are a recently qualified teacher (ECT) who has not yet secured an ECT role and wants to gain cross-phase teaching experience while opening the door to future ECT induction at this school?

A 2-form entry primary school based in Barking & Dagenham, London (OFSTED-rated good), is seeking a full-time PPA teacher on a long-term, paid-to-scale contract (part-time availability may be considered for the right candidate).

✅ Open to both experienced primary teachers and ECTs ✅ Would not complete PPA-based ECT induction, but you will teach across the whole school, gaining invaluable experience ✅ Potential opportunity to complete ECT induction the following year (from September 2027), with full staff support

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
