About the Role

Are you an enthusiastic teacher or instructor who believes every child deserves the opportunity to succeed?

At Bricklehurst Manor School, we're looking for a passionate Primary SEN Teacher / Instructor to join our dedicated team and help transform the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs, Autism (ASC) and associated needs.

This is more than a teaching role—it's an opportunity to nurture confidence, unlock potential and celebrate every achievement, no matter how big or small. Working in our supportive specialist setting, you'll have the freedom to deliver creative, personalised learning that inspires pupils to engage, grow and achieve more than they ever thought possible.

If you're looking for a career where every day is rewarding and your impact is truly life-changing, we'd love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and personalised lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN and ASC.
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom where every pupil feels safe, valued and motivated to learn.
  • Support pupils' academic, emotional, social and personal development, helping them build confidence and independence.
  • Adapt teaching approaches and learning activities to maximise engagement, progress and achievement.
  • Monitor, assess and celebrate pupil progress, using assessment to inform future learning.
  • Work collaboratively with therapists, teaching assistants, families and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide consistent, holistic support.
  • Promote positive behaviour through therapeutic, relationship-based approaches that encourage self-regulation and resilience.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, curriculum development and enrichment opportunities that enhance every pupil's educational journey.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
