Job Opportunity
Randstad Education is currently seeking passionate Primary Teaching Assistants for daily supply, short-term, and long-term placements across primary schools in the Leeds area.
Key Requirements
- Essential UK Experience: You must have recent, verifiable experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant within a UK primary school setting.
- Classroom Competency: A strong understanding of the EYFS, KS1, or KS2 UK National Curriculum, with hands-on experience running small-group literacy, numeracy, or phonics interventions.
- Safeguarding and Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete a new check through Randstad).
- Core Skills: Excellent behaviour management skills, strong communication, and a proactive, warm approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
