Primary Teacher – Clapham Primary School

Salary: £180–£250 per day (dependent on experience)

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term and Permanent Opportunities

Start Date: ASAP or September 2026

Nurture Education is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Clapham. This exciting Primary Teacher opportunity is suitable for both experienced Primary Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about delivering high-quality education and inspiring young learners.

The successful Primary Teacher will have the opportunity to teach within EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on experience and preference. The school is looking for a committed Primary Teacher who can create an engaging, inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The Role – Primary Teacher

As a Primary Teacher, You Will

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
  • Foster positive behaviour and promote pupil wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements – Primary Teacher

To be considered for this Primary Teacher role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience working as a Primary Teacher within a UK primary school, or be an enthusiastic ECT.
  • Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A passion for delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
