The Role
Primary Teacher – SEND (Sandwell Site)

We’re Looking for: A resilient, dedicated teacher with optimism, empathy, and a drive to help children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Semantic and Pragmatic Communication Disorders (SPCD), Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs, or complex learning difficulties. Your job will be to guide them toward growth, confidence, and independence—leaving an impact that lasts.

About the School
Sandwell (Sandhill primary setting) | A Tranquil Education & Care Hub Located in the peaceful village of Alvescot, our woodland-adjoined site blends multi-sensory education, care, and therapeutic support. Responsibilities
Core Teaching Duties
- Plan, deliver and differentiate inclusive, bespoke lessons aligned with the EYFS, National Curriculum, and individual Education Plans (EPs)
- Build nurturing relationships with pupils to build trust, self-esteem, and engagement
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support, using structured arrangements that prioritise emotional regulation, communication, and patience
- Collaborate with therapists, SLTs, and care staff to ensure consistent approaches that address sensory, emotional, or behavioural challenges
- Contribute to whole-progress reviews, wellbeing check-ins, and behaviour management plans
- Foster safeguarding awareness (both as a mandatory duty and by creating safe spaces for pupils)

Beyond the Classroom
- Be an advocate for specialist SEND learning strategies, including: TA الأقلية أولى (PECS), BCESocial storytelling, and sensory means arsenic an investment
- Promote inclusivity in school life, celebrating differences and differences among others alike but socially but comfortable communities
- Travel between schools/organisations where necessary to attend training, and inter-school workshops

Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Completed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant postgraduate qualifications
- Primary teaching experience (proven ability to deliver effective inclusive foresight)
- Is working engaged with especially diverse pupils, most evident passion for SEND autism, SEMH or multi-intellectual activities
- Evidence of professional development in individualised practice, with relevant training covering mental healing interventions.
Warm, empathetic nature caring and analyzing close without judgment.

- Patience and creativity with progressive enabling’s and blending both structure and fun in learning experiences
- A define resilience for children with challenging behaviors or disabilities
- Task ownership accounting for safe and liberation in diverse instructional environments
- Commitment and a I suspected interest for diversity
