Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Deliver the primary curriculum with confidence, catering to a diverse mix of abilities and backgrounds.
- Implement highly effective behaviour management strategies that cultivate a calm, focused classroom.
- Use formative assessment data to tailor daily learning plans and prevent children from falling behind.
- Direct and deploy classroom teaching assistants creatively to maximise student achievement.
- Participate enthusiastically in extra-curricular clubs, parents evenings, and school events.
Requirements for the Role
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (Applications from ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome).
- Proven capability to manage classrooms with mixed language proficiencies (EAL experience is advantageous).
- A current Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or a willingness for one.
- Outstanding communication skills and a passion for working in a collaborative team setting.
- Dedication to fostering an environment of high expectations and academic ambition.
