Job Title: Independent School Primary Teacher

Salary: Inner London teacher salaries + uplifts available (dependent on experience)
About Us
Reeson Education are working with a prestigious independent primary school in the heart of Kensington, renowned for small class sizes, nurturing environment, and commitment to academic excellence. The headteacher is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join the team from September 2025. Additional responsibilities and Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) opportunities are available for the right candidate.
The Role
As a Primary Teacher in this independent school, you will inspire and challenge pupils to reach their full potential. You will benefit from small class sizes, allowing you to focus on high-quality teaching and individualized learning experiences. The role also provides opportunities for leadership and professional growth through extra responsibilities and TLRs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons tailored to meet the needs of all learners.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children feel supported and motivated.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing timely feedback and interventions where necessary.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum.
- Engage with parents and carers to support each child's development and well-being.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, clubs, and events.
- Take on additional responsibilities and leadership opportunities as appropriate.

Person Specification:
Essential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- A passion for high-quality teaching and a commitment to pupil progress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning.
Desirable
- Experience working within an independent school setting.
- Experience in subject leadership or curriculum development.
- A willingness to take on extra responsibilities and leadership roles.
