Primary Teacher: One-Year Fixed Term Opportunity
A friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Lambeth is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Primary Teacher for a one-year fixed-term contract beginning in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Primary Teacher to join a school with a strong sense of community, high aspirations for every pupil, and a commitment to delivering an engaging, knowledge-rich curriculum. Staff work collaboratively, sharing planning and best practice to ensure children receive an outstanding educational experience.
The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 3 class, supporting pupils as they make the important transition into Key Stage 2 while developing confidence, independence, and resilience.
The Role
As a Primary Teacher, You Will
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive
- Monitor progress using assessment to inform teaching and targeted support
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and collaborative projects

The Ideal Candidate
The School Is Looking For a Primary Teacher Who
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and strong curriculum knowledge
- Has high expectations for behaviour, progress, and achievement
- Is reflective, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development
