EYFS / KS1 Primary Teacher – EOTAS Tuition

Quantum Scholars is seeking a qualified EYFS or KS1 Primary Teacher to deliver 1:1 tuition and personalised learning support for a primary-aged pupil accessing Education Other Than At School (EOTAS) in Wokingham.

This is a rewarding opportunity to have a genuine impact on a young person’s educational journey through tailored, home-based tuition.

The Role

  • Deliver 12 hours of one-to-one tuition per week (working days to be agreed)
  • Plan and deliver personalised learning tailored to the pupil’s individual needs and abilities
  • Build a positive, trusting, and supportive relationship with the learner
  • Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence
  • Monitor progress and provide written feedback where required
  • Work independently within a home-based learning environment

About The Pupil

You will be supporting a primary-aged learner who is non-verbal and has complex additional needs. We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable teacher who has experience supporting children with SEND and can create a calm, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEND and/or SEMH needs
  • A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • The confidence to work independently in a home-based setting
  • A genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential

Contract Details
