Primary Teaching Assistant | Bromley | September Start

Are you an ambitious graduate looking to gain hands-on experience within an Outstanding primary school before pursuing a career in teaching? This Primary Teaching Assistant opportunity in Bromley offers the chance to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 while learning from experienced practitioners within a nurturing and high-achieving school environment.

This Primary Teaching Assistant role is ideal for graduates who enjoy working with younger children and want to develop their classroom confidence before teacher training. You will support whole-class learning, deliver focused interventions and work closely with teachers to ensure every pupil receives the encouragement they need to succeed.

The school prides itself on delivering a broad, engaging curriculum where academic achievement is balanced with creativity, personal development and pupil wellbeing.

Full Academic Year | £500–£550 per week

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will:

  • Hold A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications) and a BA degree
  • Be enthusiastic about Primary education
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be patient, proactive and organised
  • Have aspirations of becoming a Primary Teacher
