Randstad Education is currently seeking enthusiastic, adaptable Primary Teaching Assistants for daily, short-term, and long-term placements across all year groups (EYFS, KS1, and KS2) in Sheffield.

These roles are scheduled to begin this September, making it the perfect opportunity to secure your next position ahead of the autumn term.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Essential UK Experience: You must have a minimum of 6 months of recent, verifiable experience working within a UK primary school classroom setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to work seamlessly across different year groups, from Early Years Foundation Stage up to Year 6.
  • Behaviour Management: Strong classroom management skills with a proactive, positive approach to supporting diverse student needs.
  • Compliance: A valid, enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or the willingness for a new one through Randstad).
  • Core Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting both classroom teachers and young learners.
