Quantum Scholars are looking for caring, reliable, and experienced Primary Tutors to support primary-aged children in and around Glastonbury, Somerset.
This is an in-person tuition role. Tuition will take place in the child's home and/or a suitable community setting, depending on the individual referral. Please note that this is not online work, so applicants must be able to travel to Glastonbury and the surrounding areas.
We work with children who may be educated other than at school, awaiting a suitable placement, or in need of additional personalised support. Tuition is usually delivered on a 1:1 basis and is tailored to the needs, ability, and circumstances of each child.
We are interested in tutors with strong primary experience who can support core learning across areas such as English, Maths, phonics, reading, writing, communication, confidence, and engagement. The successful tutor will be able to provide a nurturing, flexible, and child-centred approach, building positive relationships and delivering engaging sessions that support progress and re-engagement with education.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
