We have a fantastic opportunity for a Prime Account Executive to join the Sales team at Sanderson Design Group, working with an established team to implement sales strategy across our national account customer base. It's a key role supporting the growth of existing partnerships and the exploration and identification of new partnerships to maximise sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Planning Develop, execute, and drive sales plans for all allocated Prime Accounts, with guidance from the UK Sales Director Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets, meeting agreed margin targets and other KPIs as outlined in the commercial budget Research, propose and secure new Prime Account business, with support and guidance from the UK Sales Director and other Prime Account Manager Propose improvements to existing commercial terms, striving to improve profitability for SDG and executing with guidance Learn to maximise potential with existing customers by understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for growth Be eager to learn and participate in the development and mentoring of existing customer accounts, ensuring they have the tools to manage and grow their business Manage relationships with allocated customers by striving to offer outstanding customer service Help manage our route to market for new ranges, adapting quickly to market changes Maintaining regular customer visits appropriate to customer’s current and potential turnover and segmentation

Brand execution and representation Ensure all brands are fully and appropriately represented in line with brand values, working closely with Brand Managers and the marketing department Support the sharing and promotion of the business vision and strategy with key buyers/customers, ensuring they understand the DNA of each brand. Understand SDG category specific landscapes and trends. Be a clear and regular point of communication between our customers, and UK Sales Director , keeping the business fully informed of competitor activity and general market information. Attending industry events and conferences to generate new business leads.

Utilising data and insight Assist with regular analysis of sales information to identify future business development opportunities. Learn to formulate, review, and implement effective customer visit plans. Learn to use WG360 and CRM effectively to optimize sales opportunities and maintain comprehensive customer records. Contribute to comprehensive monthly reports. Provide assistance with customer complaints as requested by Customer Services, working in conjunction with the customer service team. Creating action plans to drive sales performance through regular analysis of sales information for future business development.

Qualifications Required

Ideally BSc/BA in business administration, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus UK/EU Driving licence. Professional sales training would be a strong advantage but not essential. Negotiation skills qualification.

Skills & Experienced Required

Highly self-motivated individual, good at negotiating with strong interpersonal skills and the desire to develop these skills further. Sales experience, with a track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth, Strong business sense and industry expertise specifically in the development and implementation of robust trade terms. Demonstrable ability to present, influence and communicate effectively at all levels of the business. Self-driven, results orientated and a positive outlook. Enjoy working in a team and closely with a number of internal stakeholders. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint When required, willing to travel regularly in order to engage directly with partners
